The much-anticipated start to construction at the iconic Chapel Towers, in Zonnebloem, has begun.
Asrin Property Developers anticipate the 90 unit project will be completed by the end of 2019. Take-up of units here has been quick, although it has possibly been the “best kept secret in the Mother City”, says Ali Mohammed, Asrin’s project manager.
The majority of the units were sold prior to any formal marketing campaign as demand for units at reasonable prices in this area is high.
The Chapel Towers development creates a chance to live in a prestigious apartment block on the fringe of the city and literally be a couple of minutes from the centre of the CBD, with quick access to major highways, to the airport, southern suburbs and the northern suburbs, says Mohammed.
Prices range from R1,85 million to R2,9 million. All the units will have superior finishes and fittings, with engineered stone kitchen countertops, SMEG appliances, porcelain tiles on the floors, Grohe (or similar) bathroom fittings and air-conditioning in the penthouse suites. Units will be light-filled and they will all benefit from either views of Table Mountain (recently named one of the seven natural wonders of the world), city or harbour.
Chapel Towers will have a lifestyle deck on the roof, which will have a swimming pool, gym equipment, and outdoor entertainment and braai area. One parking bay per unit has been allocated in the double basement and on the ground floor level.
Situated between the historical District Six area and the Foreshore, residents at Chapel Towers will be able to enjoy a culture-rich environment with a glut of restaurants, bistros, coffee shops and retail centres nearby as well as it being possible to live a stone’s throw from one’s place of work. When at home, residents will be able to enjoy 180° mountain or harbour views, and live in an access controlled environment.
